Pedestrian Struck and Killed on U.S. 19 in Spring Hill

A pedestrian was killed on Sunday after she was hit by a truck in Spring Hill.

Reports indicate that an 81-year-old man was driving a 1998 Dodge Ram in the inside lane of U.S. 19 North, near Beverly Court when a 60-year-old Brooksville woman walking west from the east shoulder of U.S. 19 wandered into the truck’s path.

ambulanceThe Dodge Ram collided with the woman. She was immediately pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

No one else was injured.
