A pedestrian vs. motor vehicle accident has the potential to cause death, traumatic brain injuries, disfigurement, scarring, muscle and tissue damage, nerve damage, loss of a limb, depression and other physical and mental impairments. Some victims of these accidents require specialized care, such as long-term physical and psychological treatment. The physical pain and mental anguish suffered by pedestrians injured in car accidents is usually extreme, and the cost of medical treatment can be overwhelming.
