Severe head trauma generally results in a skull fracture. Skull fractures are a frequent injury in serious motor vehicle accidents. The skull bone is quite strong, so it takes a great amount of force to cause the skull to crack. When the skull fractures or breaks, the brain is left unprotected, leaving it susceptible to grave injuries.
If you or someone close to you has suffered a skull fracture in a collision that was caused by the recklessness or negligence of another, a personal injury claim can help you recover any damages from the accident, including current and future medical bills, lost wages, physical pain, emotional trauma and other accident-related damages.
